One made of opepe which is a tropical hardwood – fairly easy to work and very long lasting. One of European larch oiled and it should last well in the open in a maritime environment.
Unfortunately we do see some abuse of benches locally such as when unthinking people choose to use a disposable barbecue on a wooden bench – let’s hope that does not happen as I shall just have to mend it. Why don’t people think?!!
